  • Integrated Neon Remote Terminal (NRT) allows real-time data reporting over the internet
  • Hi precision shaft encoder technology
  • Integrated NRT logger for local storage
  • LCD display, reverse rotation, change scale and reset
  • Displays water level continuously
  • 1mm accuracy
  • Adjustable offset and scale
  • Rain Gauge input
  • Low battery indication
  • Optional internal micrologger for integrated data logging

Float operated instruments can be the most accurate way to monitor water levels. The Starlevel Precision Level Instrument can achieve operating accuracy and resolution of 0.2mm. This accuracy is maintained for the service life of the instrument without calibration or maintenance, apart from periodic battery changes.

This new model incorporates a Neon internet enabled data logger giving this instrument the capability of recording data locally and also sending the data for viewing on the internet or emailing it straight into your inbox. The Neon system is one of the most advanced telemetry systems available in the world making this unit the complete fully automated precision water level recording instrument.

This instrument has the range to monitor surface and underground waters, and the precision to monitor rainfall and evaporation. It supersedes models 6541A, 6509 and 6531, models that have been installed at more than 2500 sites.
The Starlevel interfaces with the surface of the water via a float and counterweight system. On installation, the instrument is set to display the measured water level. As the water level changes, the input shaft rotates and an optical encoder, mounted on the input shaft detects the movement.
The encoder is continuously monitored, updating the LCD display as the instrument tracks water level. The readings can be recorded by an associated or integrated data logger. The very low mechanical friction and inertia of the instrument mean that it can produce data with high precision and accuracy. A replaceable battery pack powers the instrument for more than twelve months. Practical design and rugged construction ensures easy operation and long service life.
