Data collection on the Internet or direct to your inbox
The next stage of remote data acquisition is now available. The Neon system is one of the most advanced telemetry systems available in the world. Neon incorporates GPRS or Satellite Neon Remote Terminals in the field which talk to a Neon Central Server. The Neon system operates as a push data model over the internet, where the logged data is pushed from the logger up to the server at user defined intervals. Once a user’s link to the Neon Server is set up, all data, from historical through to near real-time, plus processed information, can be accessed via the internet. Alternatively, Neon can routinely deliver data via email, SMS or a range of other data transfer mechanisms.
Neon is designed to automate collection of remote data from environmental monitoring, industrial measurement, and utility metering sites using the web enabled data logger. Fully bi-directional communication is possible via the Neon server enabling data to be collected directly and the Neon data loggers to be programmed from any internet connection on the globe.
Automatic Data Logging has truly arrived as this new concept effectively replaces the traditional dial up modem.

New SDI-12 Starlevel and Starflow
Two of our biggest selling instruments have undergone some serious improvements and amongst other features now include SDI-12 capability. This widely used communications protocol increases the flexibilty of these instruments in allowing them to be connected to a range of dataloggers and telemetry outstations. Specifically, two of the widely used telemetry outstations used by the Environment Agency, the DL7150 and the Serck MGX series RTUs, are now directly compatible with the Starlevel and Starflow. |
The ever popular Unidata Starflow has been completely re-vamped, enhancing it's existing high specification. It is still the reliable, rugged, low cost flowmeter it has always been but now it boasts a new improved depth transducer and SDI-12 functionality.
Starflow is suitable for use in a wide range of water qualities ranging from waste water to clean streams, potable water, and even sea water. |
